I am really pleased with my animated videos produced by Mair. Mair was helpful throughout the production, the process was very clear and all of the materials were easily accessible. The final videos are excellent, really high quality. Mair really 'got' my brief and made suggestions which greatly improved the videos. Very highly recommended :)

Mair was excellent in describing her process, understanding the work / message we wanted to convey and producing a brilliant animation. Her openness to taking suggestions and incorporating them made this an easy and enjoyable project to work on. I'm so pleased to have found Mair when shortlisting animators to work with on our cancer research explainer animation. She has been an absolute pleasure to work with over the last couple of months. Her creative process is very open and inclusive; a really enjoyable collaborative team effort from the first meeting, and exceptional value for money. The RaNT team (researchers from Universities of Exeter & Cambridge, UCL & STFC) are exceptionally happy with the quality of the work. It conveys the science perfectly and is fun to watch. There are some subtle character animation traits that I am particularly happy with. We're very excited to be able to use Mair's work as a core tool for interacting with patients, and at the centre of our public involvement drive. We produced 3 short videos about fires in the Amazon with Mair and we couldn't be happier with the results. Mair did a fantastic job of illustrating a 10 year timeline of East Midlands Trains history for our annual Management Conference. Even from the initial scoping meeting, she asked all of the right questions and covered everything in great detail to make the illustration as accurate and 'true to life' as possible. Mair produced an amazing animation for my PhD research. The communication was excellent throughout the process, and the one on one conversations and sharing of ideas made for a really professional, enjoyable experience.

Another highlight for me this year was working with professional animator, Mair Perkins, to create an animated video to communicate my research to diverse audiences. Not only has this increased professional engagement with my research among collaborating partners around the world (Brazil, USA), but it allowed my family and friends to understand and engage with my research in a meaningful way too.

She is a great communicator, was always on time, brought in her own ideas and guided me through the whole process - which I valued a lot being all new to animations. I've worked closely with Mair on several design and animation projects. Mair is hardworking, incredibly skilled, and very committed. She's fantastic at working to timescales, at the same time allowing for flexibility which is sometimes necessary when working with several stakeholders. We've just finished working on a fantastic animation project for teachers and students over the last 9 months, and I'm so impressed with the quality of the final animation which Mair has produced. She helped to keep the whole process running smoothly, right from the planning to all of the illustration, concept, script and animation stages. I am sure we will work on lots of other projects in the future!
