The Precautionary Principle

The University of East Anglia approached me to create an animation to explain the precautionary principle in a simple, easy to comprehend motion graphics video. The Precautionary Principle is intended to deal with uncertainty and risk in cases where the absence of evidence and the incompleteness of scientific knowledge carries profound implications. This philosophical and ecological research is conducted by Rupert Read, Nassim Taleb, Raphael Douady, Joseph Norman, Yaneer Bar-Yam.

The Precautionary Principle

Mair was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was always on hand to answer questions and guide the creative process. Her artistic talents have been exceptionally well received as our animation has been noticed and used by high-profile academics, NGO's and politicians. We would recommend the services of this company every time!
